Any of you guys catch this ride at the winternationals in Pamona last saturday? Mike Austin during the time trials lost it about half track, went over the retaining wall on the pedestrian side, slid bottom first into another wall , folded the car partially, and then slid down the infield and slammed into another retaining wall bottom first. I spent some time working on the 27 chevy, mostly the brakes. I had all the lines ran and just need a few plugs made for the master cylinder. NO PROBLEM I THOUGHT. put some fluid in and pumped the pedal quite a few times, and the leaks started to show up. The pressure switch housing leaks, both pipe thread fittings going to the front wheels were for some reason undersized, and assorted others. Was delivered Tuesday woot!! its a 14x30.. Got all my tools and equipment moved on Thursday with the help of some of my friends. Now I need to get it wired and electricty run to it, work benchs built and commence to wrenching again.. oh yeah!!... got to finish moving first.. that's gonna take at least another week or so..
